Day 9: I Went Out to Eat

Today was the first day since I began this new lifestyle that my family went out to eat. No, we did not go to a special restaurant. In fact we went to our favorite place in town!
I thought I would end up with a salad, but the salads all had meat in them...more than I would ask them to omit. That's when I saw it...enter harp music here...they had hash! My salad was very quickly potatoes, peppers, carrots, zucchini, spinach, tomatoes, and onions, with avocado on the side. It was like winning the lottery!
We finally replaced our boys tablets, as they each got one for Christmas, but neither worked. They do all of their schooling that isn't outside on them whenever they want to. The trick is getting them to take a break from learning to be kids lol.
Then for dinner, I mixed tomatoes, avocados and cucumbers with basil, oregano, and a bit of tamari, threw it into rice papers and voila! Best food day ever!
I managed to clear my head that has been on overdrive for days a little by reading twenty two chapters of a new book, and now I must go work on my own book once more.
