Day 8: Groggy Chippies

Last night I found kettle cooked chips that were potatoes, safflower oil and sea salt. I thought, while they still aren't healthy, they would be a nice end to my day 7 success.

Instant regret filled my entire body when the stomach cramps and nausea began. Then, all night, I suffered a migraine, and this morning I was so groggy I couldn't force my body to budge from the bed.
It's amazing how a small amount of something that I used to eat regularly had such a huge impact on me. It scared me when the realization of what I had been putting into my body prior to this took hold.

What had I done to my body!?! I only get one! Why was I not taking better care of it? The answer came to me before the question even formed...it was easier because it was familiar.
For lunch I put in effort. I chopped avocado, tomato, and peppers, added oregano, basil and rice and made rice paper wraps.afain, I know rice papers are not good for me, but they are small, were still in the house, and I'm the only one who eats them.

This was a success! No side effects other than a full belly.
My workout went great, and I can see HUGE differences in my body, energy levels, and overall health. Paired with a natural vitamin B12 and D, my plan is well in the works.

...now I just have to work on my patience.
